KTCEA is seeking a Math and Science teacher for the Kateri School for the upcoming 2023/2024
school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing KTCEA curriculum and school
programs in accordance with Alberta Education guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same
• Ability to adhere to Alberta Education’s Teaching Quality Standard
• Previous teaching experience not required but would be an asset
• Knowledge and understanding of First Nations language and culture, organizations, and
  communities preferred
• Appreciation for and interest in working within a land-based learning environment

Check, CWIS) submitted prior to commencement of employment
