Applications are being accepted for the position of Head Cook for the Clarence Jaycox School lunch program. This position is based on a 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday work schedule, for the school year.


  • Preparation of lunches according to the menu and learning new menu items
  • Preparing enough food for the quantity of students in school
  • Daily Duties including the preparation of foods and cleaning of the kitchen and supplies
  • Serving of lunches to students and completion of daily clean-up
  • Preparing and serving lunches for Professional Development days
  • Placing online orders, receiving of grocery orders, and inventory control
  • Completion of all required paperwork
  • Major cleaning of kitchen
  • Reporting any safety or cleanliness issues to the Principal
  • Receive direction from the Principal and the Food Services Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
Conditions of Employment

RCMP/Police Criminal Record Check and Intervention Record Check (formerly Child Welfare Check, CWIS) submitted prior to commencement of employment.
