Registration is open for Outreach School 2022-2023 school year. Outreach serves students in all KTC communities through online learning and students may attend in-person in Whitefish Lake First Nation #459 (Youth Centre Building) and Loon River First Nation (LRC building).
What is Outreach School?
- A full-time school program for students currently not attending school or students who wish to complete or upgrade high school courses in an alternate setting (ages 12 to 21).
- Outreach offers flexible, self-directed programs, individual learning paths and student support.
- Core subjects for grades 7-9 and grades 10-12 are offered with guidance from certified teachers and education assistants.
- Outreach students may enroll in high school credit programs and join other KTCEA high school students for land-based learning camps, CTS programs or post-secondary tours.
How to register?
Registration forms can be downloaded from the KTCEA website here or picked up at your local KTCEA school. Students may register and join anytime during the school year. Note: a referral process is followed for students wanting to transfer from their communities’ main school to the Outreach.
