KTCEA is proud to announce the Nîkânîwin Kîhcîyihtâkosiwin – Honouring Leadership Award. This award is available to all qualifying KTCEA students in recognition of the guiding principles and values that are grounded in education at KTCEA:

● Nîhiyawîwin – Cree Way of Being
● Wahkohtowin – Kinship
● Pîkiskwîstamowîwin – Speaking on Behalf of Others
● Wîcihitowin – Sharing
● Manâtisiwin – Respect & Respect for Each Other
● Tapatwîwin – Honesty
Annual award amount will be $600 per nation for a student enrolled in and attending Grade 6-12 in a KTCEA school. Award recipients will be announced in June of every year.
