We are celebrating Inclusive Education Week from February 22-25, 2022. This year’s theme is kiscâyâwin or belonging. Inclusion means that everyone belongs in our schools and classrooms. This year, we will celebrate what it means for students to feel a sense of belonging in their education.
Activities
February 22 to 24: Each school will have student and family activities.
Tuesday February 22: Virtual event for all schools, The Magic of Coby: Bullying Prevention Magic Show.
Grades K4-Grade 3: 11:00-11:45 AM
Grades 4-7: 1:00-1:45 PM
Grades 8-12: 2:00-2:45 PM
Parent/caregiver presentation: 6:30-7:15 PM. Your school will send the Zoom meeting link for the parent/caregiver presentation in a handout, through text/mail, or in your student’s Google Classroom.
February 23: Pink Shirt Day. Be kind and speak out when you see bullying.
February 25: Inclusive Education PD Day. No school for students.
