KTCEA Literacy loves to use the Handwriting Without Tears Program in all the KTCEA schools. On October 24th and 25th, workshops were held for Head Start to Grade 2 teachers, along with NSD61 teachers. This program is inclusive and provides multisensory approaches to develop the foundation skills your students need to become successful communicators.
Lindsay Amey, an Occupational Therapist, came in from Handwriting Without Tears. She is a skilled trainer, and we were so lucky to have her extensive background at our fingertips.
It was a wonderful two days of learning as participants were engaged in many sensory activities and hands-on experiences.
